In 2007 the Wyoming Romagnola Stud covered a large area of Queensland at shows and field days with both our stud team and sale bulls. These areas included Cloncurry in the north-west, Brisbane in the south-east and Theodore in Central Queensland. The stud team was exhibited at the Theodore Romagnola Feature Show and at the Brisbane Royal. Great success at both shows was evident with the stud taking out the grand champion bull at both. Firstly it was Wyoming Angelo who claimed the senior champion bull ahead of his stable mate Wyoming Armando who took out the reserve. Angelo was then named supreme bull of the show. The stud also claimed the calf champion and reserve calf champion female with Wyoming Breanna and Wyoming Bianca as well as the junior champion female with Wyoming Amity. At the Brisbane Royal the stud again claimed the grand champion bull, this time with Wyoming Abe our junior bull. Wyoming Breanna again showed of her class and won her section for the junior female title and Wyoming Amity the reserve senior female. Wyoming Armando repeated his previous show title of reserve senior bull. He was later sold on his return to Nebo.
The stud also had great success with their trade cattle in Mackay claiming a swag of awards and places for steers both on the hoof and over the hook, with the main award being the Champion Pen of 3 Grain Fed Chiller Bullocks.

The 2006 show calendar for the Wyoming Romagnola Stud was somewhat
smaller then 2005, with only three shows attended. These shows
included Marlborough, the internationally recognized Beef Australia
2006 and the Brisbane Royal.
The stud’s success started at its first show
of the year at Marlborough where the young recruits to the show
team were the only entered by the stud. Wyoming Annie secured
the Reserve Calf Champion Female, while Wyoming Alexander took
out the Reserve Calf Champion Bull. Beef Australia followed not
far behind where Wyoming Annie again took out the Reserve Calf
Champion Female, while her older stable mates Wyoming Yemima and
Wyoming York grabbed the Reserve Senior Cow and Reserve Senior
Bull respectively, with Laurel Hills Pty Ltd quick to purchase
Wyoming York at the completion of judging.
On to the Brisbane Royal in August and it
was a clean sweep by the stud with all 6 head nominated collecting
broad ribbons. Starting the day was Wyoming Alisa collecting the
Junior Champion Female, then both Wyoming Alexander and Wyoming
Armando took out the Junior Champion and Reserve Junior Champion
Bulls, Wyoming Zac the Reserve Senior Champion Bull, Wyoming Zeph
the Senior and Grand Champion Bull and Wyoming Yemima the Senior
and Grand Champion Female. After taking out the Grand Champion
title at the Brisbane Royal, Wyoming Zeph was purchased on his
return home from the show by repeat buyers the Henry family.

Results 2005
The 2005 showing year proved to be our largest and most successful year for showing to date. For the first time the Wyoming Romagnola Stud exhibited at the Sydney Royal Show. It was our first show of the year and what a great start to the showing year it was, collecting both the Grand Champion Bull (Wyoming Zac) and Grand Champion Female (Wyoming Willetta) and Senior Champion Bull (Wyoming Xeno). This continued on through out the year were Wyoming Willetta and a younger team of stud bulls were exhibited at the Katherine and Darwin Shows. It was also a maiden trip for the stud to the Northern Territory that saw a further triumph with Willetta taking out Supreme Exhibit of the Katherine Show and Champion All Other Breeds at Darwin.
Further success continued at the Maryborough Feature Show where Wyoming Xylona took out the Grand Champion Female & Interbreed Female award, with Wyoming Willetta taking the Reserve Senior Champion Female and Wyoming Yemima Reserve Junior Champion Female. For our final show of the year at the Brisbane Royal, Wyoming Zac again took out the Grand Champion Bull, with stable mate Wyoming Yvette taking the Grand Champion Female and Wyoming York & Wyoming Yemima taking both the Reserve Senior Champion broad ribbons
In the Trade Cattle side of the year, Wyoming Romagnolas entered Romagnola/Brahman cross milk-tooth steers in the Mackay show resulting in a 1st and 3rd in the Feature Class - Pen of 3 Bullocks 580 - 720 kgs Most Suitable for Japanese Market. 2004 Results
2004 was a fantastic year for our stud in both the stud section and the fat cattle section Our continued success at the Mackay Show that saw our Romagnola/Brahman cross bullock take out the Grand Champion & Best Conformation Bullock of the 2004 Mackay Show. This bullock went on to sell to a show record price of $1700.
Our other great success for the showing year came at our final show at the Brisbane Royal (The Ekka), where our team of 5 head walked away with 6 championships, including Grand Champion Female against strong competition from 5 other Romagnola studs. This was only our third year at the Ekka and the second time we had secured the top female award.
