We have exhibited at every Beef Australia since 1994 and exclusively under the Wyoming Romagnolas banner since 2000.  So this year we’ve decided to make a change from simply just entering the cattle competitions and being packed into the stud sheds with all the other cattle.  This year we have teamed up with Timbrel Brahmans, Wilangi Brahmans and Vaucraft Brafords to have a one stop cattle shop located at TRADE SITE 151 on the main grounds during the week long event in Rockhampton running from 7-12 May 2012.

TRADE SITE 151 has been designed to give visitors the opportunity to inspect 4 leading studs across 3 breeds.  The site will allow people to view the show teams of each stud, as well as pens of led and unled bulls that will be on display and available for sale throughout the week.  We personally will have up to 15 bulls available for sale either on the grounds or located within 20 minutes of Rockhampton for inspection.

At TRADE SITE 151 we will be running a competition throughout Beef 2012 that will give visitors the opportunity to win a commissioned abstract drawing titled “Billy and the Bull” signed by football legend Billy Slater and hand drawn by his wife Nicole.

Our site has a child friendly environment and will provide light refreshments and a relaxed area to sit and discuss the cattle.

For those who are interest in the Romagnola stud cattle judging, it will be held in Ring 5 on Wednesday 9 May commencing at 8am.

We are a commercially focused, family operated business, so throughout Beef 2012 we have also nominated cattle in the ANZ National Beef Carcase Competition and the Ruralco/CRT Australian Beef Cattle Competition with all cattle nominated in these events being Romagnola/Brahman cross.

We are excited about the future of the cattle industry and will be at TRADE SITE 151 throughout Beef 2012 and hope to see you there.
