Story report posted at 12:51 pm on the 23rd February, 2017
The top price Romagnola bull at the February All Breeds Sale 2017 was Wyoming Kip selling for $6,500. Kip was purchased by the Stretton family of Kuttabul after attending an on property pre-sale inspection at Codrilla in January. The Stretton’s were so impressed with Kip that they were determined to buy him at the sale and battled it out with the Tanzer family to secure him. Both the the Stretton’s and the Tanzer’s commented that the depth and style of the bull were what drew their attention to him.
Not wanting to go home empty handed, the Tanzer Family selected Wyoming Kojo again commenting on his depth and his true Romagnola type.
Selecting 4 bulls for their commercial operation was the Turley Cattle Company after previously seeing Wyoming Romagnola bulls and their cross-bred commercial calves while driving down the Beef Road past Codrilla on numerous occasions.
We would like to thank all buyers and under bidders on a successful sale.
